Girl next car

Bra’s definitely a marginal character in Dragonball plot, and mainly intended as a satellite of the couple Bulma-Vegeta, when not as a pretext to show some funny aspects of the new terrestrial life of the Sayan prince. We don’t really know much about her.

Anyway, judging by the (scarce) elements presented of her personality, it seems she may be frivolous, but quite determined too - she’s Vegeta’s daughter, in the end -, and the way she’s dressed makes me think she’s not really inhibited for being a teenager…
Therefore, I’m not so sure Vegeta’s protectiveness towards his daughter really manages to contain her ‘vitality’…
And this was what I had in mind to represent with this picture.

You can read it as you prefer, of course; personally, I was thinking of her giving a winking glance to someone in the next car while her father doesn’t notice it.

From this point of view, the glass panel is a sort of obstacle that could separate the viewer from the two characters, if Bra didn’t avoid it with discretion…
Or maybe she’s just mocking you (or who else): she looks at you, but you can distinctly see HIM… so be warned: go beyond an innocent smile and you’ll risk your life! XD

As someone could have noticed, the fact they’re in a car (or whatever this odd Capsule Corp. vehicle could be!) is also a reference to the episode in GT series, where Vegeta takes Bra shopping and, on the way back, nonchalantly makes two incautious guys precipitate in a ravine as they try to approach her.

Anyway, though they don’t seem to be interacting much, I think they’re both enjoying the drive together.

As for the technical aspects, this is a brand new experiment of coloring technique for me! Well, nothing revolutionary, but I usually leave the inks in their original black color; this time I painted them too. So, the outlines look less defined, the contrast softer and the picture brighter, I think. If you want, let me know how you judge of the result, please! I’m very curious about this - and about whatever you wish to write on the theme of this image, of course!
